can hardly wait

thanks to APC (Accenture Photography Club), i have additional budget to buy a novel from powerbooks! the club gave me P200 for being 2nd placer in the june photo of the month. the theme was "father's day" and i submitted a photo taken from an eco tour last february. konti lang nag-submit kaya siguro napili ako, hehe.

i don't know what book to get uli pero most likely anything from neil gaiman, maybe "stardust" in case i found a copy. ngayong taon lang ako naging fan ni neil gaiman who has been described by others as a "witty, foolishly wise narrator" something which i absolutely agree with. sayang, sana i became a fan before or while i was in the US. it would be much easier for me to find his works kung sakali at pwede pa akong magbenta, hehe! exciting sobra, not knowing what the next book will be and what that book will unfold for me but knowing it will be from neil gaiman, im almost sure it will not be disappointing.

here are the two books from neil gaiman that i found to be truly entertaining -- one is "Coraline", a dark and frightening story for kids featuring an adventurous heroine and the other is "Anansi Boys", a funny and almost magical story about Fat Charlie Nancy, his dad and his unknown brother whom Fat Charlie later discovers are both gods. in the book, Fat Charlie is not really fat... or has not been fat for a long time now but somehow the name stuck and people kept calling him that. if you want to find out why, ask me sometime or get a copy of "Anansi Boys" from the bookstores, hehe.

ayun lang, have a good day everyone!
