Invite: A ComPEWter Seminar

Hello Friends and Countrymen!

Invite ko lang kayo to a 3-hour Microsoft Office Computer Seminar to be held this September 22, Saturday. The seminar will cover shortcuts, latest features of MS Powerpoint, Excel, and Word. The speaker is Jerry Liao, kapatid ng pastor namin ito at host ng InfoChat. He is a Microsoft Office Certified Professional, the first yata sa country if not the only. He really came to our church and offered his talent for this, free of charge kaya the tickets we’re selling cost much less than what you would normally have to pay for sa labas. These seminars usually cost around P1000 or more. Our tickets only cost P300 and each participant will receive Microsoft Certificates at the end of the training.

If you know of any students, professionals who may be interested please have them contact me at gfyrivera@yahoo.com. Proceeds from this seminar will go to our church’s Benevolence Ministry.

Salamat again, folks and God bless!

slightly cracked

-im so glad to know i have friends at work na medyo may sayad din-

i really feel slightly cracked today. just tired and lacking good sleep. other than that, im truly happy. i got my salary letter and my increase was more than what i was praying for. my efforts at work were also recognized and i was given an award for that. mini-award lang, no shiny plaque to boast of or awarding ceremonies to attend to. its really just an email recognizing how i have demonstrated professionalism and confidence daw. okay no? grateful naman ako. answered prayer ang lahat ng ito dahil syempre i want my efforts talaga to be recognized dahil hindi naman madali ang aming trabaho. isa pa, im really working hard dahil kelangan ko ng pambayad sa mortgage, hehe! although im not going to be promoted this year, im happy just the same. eto yung details nung award:

Performance Factor: Demonstrates Professionalism and Confidence.
Outcome: Gezelle inherited a project that was behind schedule Day 1 and did not have any experienced team members to help her. Despite this challenge, Gezelle remained poised, professional, enthusiastic, and cautiously optimistic. She promised to work hard, but did not promise to do things the team could not accomplish. She clearly articulated her own s! kills, her concerns about the schedule, and potential risks we faced. Gezelle's balanced view and hard work greatly help the team.
