A GLIMPSE INTO MY PERSONALITY SPECTRUM
Your mind is never at rest. You are continually striving to influence all those about you. You have some excellent ideas but you persist in trying to persuade others just how great your ideas really are. Maybe you are trying too hard. Take it easy - remember, 'Everything comes to those who wait'.
You are working extremely hard - perhaps even above and beyond the call of duty. You are preparing for the future and therefore trying to build a firm trouble-free foundation upon which you may base all of your dreams and aspirations.
Many people will consider you egotistical and full of your own self importance. On the surface you could well give this impression and perhaps the reason for this complacent attitude is because at times you indeed have that 'short fuse' and are quick to take offense.
It would seem that an existing situation or relationship is unsatisfactory and you feel that there is little that you can do about it without 'some help from your friends', but you have no desire to show the world how vulnerable you really are and therefore you consider it inadvisable to display affection or be over demonstrative. You regard this particular relationship as a depressing tie and although you would like to be independent and unhampered, you don't want to run the risk of losing anything. All this leads you to react 'touchily' and with impatience, while the urge to 'get away from it all' results in considerable restlessness and stress. Your ability to concentrate may suffer.
You are anxious about all the limitations to which you are subjected to at this time. You feel that you are not valued for what or who you are. You need OUT. So why procrastinate any longer - MOVE!
You feel utterly wretched - worn out. The demands that other people have been making on you have depleted your strength and stamina. You feel powerless to try to remedy the situation on your own and you are looking for what is hopefully known as 'divine intervention'. But be assured your salvation lies in yourself - you have the ability so use it.

I'm Only Sleeping
words by john lennon (and music i think)
When I wake up early in the morning
Lift my head, I'm still yawning
When I'm in the middle of a dream
Stay in bed, float up stream (float up stream)
Please, don't wake me, no, don't shake me
Leave me where I am - I'm only sleeping
Everybody seems to think I'm lazy
I don't mind, I think they're crazzy
Running everywhere at such a speed
Till they find there's no need (there's no need)
Please, don't spoil my day, I'm miles away
And after all I'm only sleeping
Keeping an eye on the world going by my window
Taking my time
Lying there and staring at the ceiling
Waiting for a sleepy feeling...
(solo)
Please, don't spoil my day, I'm miles away
And after all I'm only sleeping
Keeping an eye on the world going by my window
Taking my time

The five brightest planets visible from Earth have lined up
in plain sight to form a spectacular celestial array that
will not be seen again until 2040.
Through the next four weeks, Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Saturn
and Venus will appear in the western sky, visible in the
evening with the naked eye.
"The five naked-eye planets are converging in one part of
the sky and from now until mid-May you can see all five at
one glance, which is pretty unusual," said John Mosley, an
astronomer at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.
Over the weeks, the alignment will assume different shapes,
as the five planets take their orbital paths around the
sun. The planets orbit in the same plane, like grooves in a
phonograph record, only at different distances from the
sun.
Similar bunchings occur every 20 years or so, though they
are not always visible. The last they were this visible was
in 1940.
In 2004, they will appear together again in the night sky,
but will be spread over a much wider area, said J. Kelly
Beatty, executive editor of Sky & Telescope magazine. They
will not be as easy to spy at a single glance again until
2040.
Astronomers emphasize that there is no astronomical
significance to the pileup. It is, Mr. Beatty said, just a
"pretty coincidence."

Seasons of Love
from 'Rent'
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,
five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,
how do you measure- measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets,
in midnights, in cups of coffee,
in inches, in miles,
in laughter, in strife?
In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
how do you measure a year in the life?
How about love?
How about love?
How about love?
Measure in love.
Seasons of love,
seasons of love.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,
five hundred twenty-five thousand journeys to plan.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,
how do you measure the life of a woman or man?
In truths that she learned
or in times that he cried?
In bridges he burned
or the way that she died?
It's time now, to sing out
though the story never ends.
Let's celebrate,
remember a year in the life of friends.
Remember the love.
Remember the love.
Remember the love.
Measure in love.
Measure, measure your life in love.
Seasons of love,
seasons of love...

(I) Get Lost
by Eric Clapton
I'm sorry.
Why should I say I'm sorry?
If I hurt you,
You know you've hurt me too.
But you get lost inside your tears,
And there is nothing I can do,
'Cause I get lost inside my fear
That I am nothing without you.
You're angry.
Why shouldn't you be angry?
With what we've been through,
Well I get angry too.
Chorus
'Cause I am nothing without you.
Why should we have taken so long
To be looking inside of our mind?
Everything we tried went wrong.
Are we worried 'bout what we might find?
I'm sorry,
But can I say I'm sorry?
If I hurt you,
You know it hurts me too.
Chorus
And you get lost inside your tears,
And there is nothing we can do,
'Cause I get lost inside my fear
That I am nothing without you.
'Cause I am nothing without you.
And I am nothing without you.
'Cause I am nothing without you.

saw a bunch of movies last weekend and the weekend before that.
some are strange, most are nicely done...all are worth seeing:
being john malkovich - see the world through the eyes of a puppeteer
save the last dance - i wish i could go clubbing right after seeing it
chicken run - graphically impressive
blue lagoon - not porn at all, nicely choreographed, good ending
billy elliot - so touching, haven't cried so much since 'sense and sensibility'
vanilla sky - life is but a dream, realize it

hi.
we recently uploaded our new company website,
www.k2ia.com
i think it was designed really well, although you can say a thing or two about
the navigation. the background was meant to create a thinking space,
and i think it achieves that goal.
please take the time to check it out and let me know what you think.

At the core of the story in The Fellowship of the Ring are five very different types of beings, united in a desparate battle against the Dark Lord, Sauron. It is by their actions that the future of Middle-earth will be decided. Men are a fledgling race just coming into their own, Hobbits are gentle and close to nature, although have an inner strength which shows itself in adversity. Elves on the other hand are noble, proud and immortal, while Dwarves are short, loyal and incredibly tough. Wizards, of course, are supremely powerful and magical.
So who are you most like?
i was most likely a Black Rider. interesting...
Black Riders (Nazgûl) are evil servants and generals of Sauron the Ring Lord
It is said that the Nazgûl were once powerful kings and sorcerers among Men and they were each given a Ring of Power by Sauron. These Rings were nine of the magical nineteen Rings that Celebrimbor and the Elven-smiths of Eregion forged for Sauron.
For many centuries these Men used their Rings to fulfil their own desires, yet all were ruled by the One Ring that Sauron made. Though these chosen Men lived by the power of the Rings far beyond the span of ordinary mortals, their forms faded. They roamed the World committing terrible deeds. They wore great cloaks, black and hooded, and hauberks of mail and silver helms, yet beneath were the grey robes of the dead and their bodies were invisible. They used spells of beckoning and spells of blasting sorcerous fire, and the curse of their Black Breath was like a plague of despair and the curse of its terror froze the hearts of their foes.

last scenes from American History X
INT. SCHOOL BATHROOM - SAME
Danny enters, sets his "AMERICAN HISTORY X" PAPER on top
of the sink, and takes an unearthly long piss at the
urinal. He finishes, flushes and turns.
Standing there is LITTLE HENRY. A GUN IN HIS HAND.
DANNY
Jesus Christ. What are you doing, Henry?
LITTLE HENRY (afraid)
What does it look like I'm doin'?
DANNY
Come on, man, no. You don't want to do this. Come on. Henry?
THE DOOR SMACKS OPEN and Danny moves to grab the pistol.
It discharges and a bullet rockets into Danny's chest.
He SLAMS back into the URINAL and gasps for air. The
force of the pistol knocks Henry to the ground. The two
kids who just entered bolt for help.
Danny slides to the tile, leaving a bloody trail. The
two stare at each other - EYE TO EYE. THE BLOODSTAINED
PAPER falls into the DAMP SINK. Danny inhales like glass
is raking his lungs.
LITTLE HENRY (terrified)
Danny?
Danny's breathing slows to a choked whisper. He blinks,
coughs, twitches. And dies.
LITTLE HENRY
Vinyard? Danny?
Henry watches teary-eyed with the same altered look Derek
had after killing Lawrence. Together they FREEZE on the
cold tile floor.
CUT TO:
INT. HALL AT VENICE HIGH BATHROOM - YELLOW POLICE TAPE
Officers and detectives monitor the area. Young
students, including Lizzy and her friends, stand around
and cry. Rasmussen brings THE BLOODY PAPER over to
Sweeney. Sweeney looks at it for a moment but is
interrupted.
RASMUSSEN
He won't let go. Will you talk to him?
INT. BATHROOM - TIGHT ON DEREK AND DANNY
Derek cradles his bloody brother. Sweeney walks over,
crouches, and talks to Derek's back.
SWEENEY
Derek? You gotta let him go, man. They gotta get him outta here.
DEREK
I can't.
Derek begins to cry outright. He can't control himself.
He lets go of Danny's corpse and charges out into the hall.
INT. HALLWAY - DORIS AND DAVINA
Derek embraces them. Doris grabs his face -- torn
between love and hate. Guilt-ridden, Derek tears from
them and storms down the hall with Sweeney soon in tow.
SWEENEY
Derek! I know what you're thinkin' right now and I want you to forget
about it!
DEREK
How the luck do you know what I'm thinkin', Sweeney!?
SWEENEY
Cause I'm thinkin' the same damn thing!
Drowning in rage, Derek turns back to a misty eyed Sweeney.
DEREK
They shot him in a fucking...pisshole!
SWEENEY
And goin' after them won't bring him back. Don't do it, Derek. Please,
man. You've come too far. The war is over.
Derek contemplates the situation and presses his tongue
against his teeth, crackbrained. Sweeney slowly
approaches and cautiously wraps his arms around the young
man. Derek buries his tearing face in Sweeney's shoulder.
DEREK
It stops now, Sweeney.
Sweeney nods and the two lock eyes. Derek makes his way
back to Doris and Davina and together, they grieve.

DANNY (V/O)
We've heard it a million times, a Bible quote become cliche: "Vengeance
is mine, sayeth the Lord."
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. SCHOOL BATHROOM - DANNY AND HENRY
A still of the two immediately after the murder. We move
in tighter and tighter until we get close on Danny.
DANNY (V/O)
Vengeance brought about by hate...and fear. When it points its head in our
direction, we take notice and everything changes. The way we choose
our friends, the way we protect our families, the way we create enemies
out of strangers. (then) Welcome to America.
THE END
Come on. Henry?

this was the poem read at the funeral in 4 weddings and a funeral
'Funeral Blues' by W. H. Auden
British Poet, Dramatist
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone.
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum,
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let the airplanes circle moaning overhead.
Scribbling on the sky the message "He is dead".
Put great bows around the white necks of the public doves.
Let traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my north, my south, my east, and west,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song.
I thought that love would last forever. I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now, put out every one.
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun.
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good."

How to be happy!
Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height.
Let the doctor worry about them.
Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. If you really
need a grouch, there are probably a few dozen of your relatives to do
the job.
Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening,
whatever. Just never let the brain idle.
Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. Laugh so
much that you can be tracked in the store by your distinctive laughter.
Do not worry about situations beyond your control. What shall be will
be.. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Surround
yourself with what you love, whether it is family, pets, keepsakes,
music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your homeis your refuge. Cherish your health. If it is good, preserve
it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can do for
yourself to improve, get help and never stop trying.
Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, next
door, foreign country, but never a guilt trip.
Tell the people you love, that you love them, at every opportunity.
Remember, Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by
the moments that take our breath away.

been reading ZEN buddhism lately.
hoping to scan a few pages to show you how the teachings were presented.
i bought it to compare the religion with my own faith. i am not a bit doubtful about
my faith nor in any way discontented but i would want to know why people would rather
embrace Buddha than Christ.
after reading only the first page, i would not be surprise why many people are attracted to
Buddhism.
ZEN means to be free, -- absolutely -- to be a human being, and this is possible only
when self-interest has ended and a person is one with the immensity of life.
somehow it occurred to me (i dont really know why) that it so much easier to be one with life
(they sometimes refer to life as ZEN itself) than to admit that you are a sinner and that you need a
Saviour to die for you in order to be saved. in Buddhism, there is no need for any feeling of guilt
because you are one with the world and the world is one with you....
or something like that =)
i cant be a ZEN master in just a week, you know...and many disciples needed many lifetimes
in order to be enlightened.
i better just go scan comic strips for you =)

wala akong masulat, masaya kasi ako nitong nakaraang, linggo e.
gumagana mga programs ko, nakakagising ako nang maaga...
i get enough sleep at night, i get visits from friends....
i bought books ive been wanting to read, i get to jog every week...
and im looking forward to spending this weekend --
swim at the ULTRA with eden, watch season 7 episodes of Friends,
go to Tutuban on Sunday...this is a good life, right?
so, i guess im happy. i must be happy.
i better stop writing, because i realize that when u try to question where
happiness comes from, the joy begins to fade away.

song i cant get out of my head (much like that na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na song)
Marlene watches from the wall
Her mocking smile says it all
As the records the rise and fall
Of every man who's been here
But the only one here now is me
I'm fighting things I cannot see
I think it's called my destiny
That I am changing

ethan hawke from reality bites, pondering on the (absence of) meaning of LIFE:
"There's no point to any of this. It's all just a... a random lottery of meaningless tragedy and a series of near escapes. So I take pleasure in the details. You know... a quarter-pounder with cheese, those are good, the sky about ten minutes before it starts to rain, the moment where your laughter become a cackle... and I, I sit back and I smoke my Camel Straights and I ride my own melt."
