of sweet dreams and water rides

a few nights ago, i had a dream and its the kind that you could almost wish you wouldn't wake up from. basta in the dream, i was on a water ride with a friend...its like the River Wild ride at Star City except that we were comfortably sitting side by side rather than awkwardly in a small log. there's enough room for maybe four people. dun sa panaginip ko, i was neither frightened nor excited about the ride... what i vividly remember was myself looking ahead with a smile saying, "im so happy".

to be honest, i have not felt like that in a long time in real life. in my recent experiences, i am often excited, awed, amazed, thrilled... but the feeling i had in that dream was different. it was not grand but it wasn't lacking in any way either. it was happiness, pure and simple.

when i woke up, i don't know whether to laugh or cry... yes, it was a good dream and a good feeling to have even for just a while but... isn't it also sad to know that you were happier in your subconscious than when you're actually awake? ewan ko... pero what i do know was that i wanted to go back to sleep hoping i could extend my dream just a little bit more.

by the way, in the dream we were dry all throughout the ride. for some reasons, eventhough it had a lot of twists and turns and water was splashing from everywhere, e hindi kami nababasa! o 'di ba, its a magical water ride!

water fun at the six flags of america

here's something i have uploaded months ago, pero never had the chance to share with you until now. this video was taken during our gimmick to Six Flags of America in Illinois last May 2006 by Arnold. we all had so much fun there, and we were wet through and through! not from this ride, but from another one we took right after this. we had so much fun. it wasn't pure happiness like in my dream, but it was close. maybe in this life, at least for now, i should not ask for more.
